A diverse group of 20+ individuals at the Misk Foundation in Riyadh, KSA, all beginners with minimal experience using ChatGPT and no prior exposure to Midjourney, the best AI image generation platform out there.
Our goal was to teach them how to utilize AI tools for creative expression with only 5 sessions at our disposal!

02The Solution
Alongside our partners SYNC, we were able to craft and deliver a comprehensive, multi-day "AI Art" workshop at the Misk Foundation. The workshop provided a deep dive into the world of AI-powered creative tools, focusing on practical application and skill development.
AI Fundamentals & Tool Introduction
Participants were introduced to the core concepts of AI, its history, and its application in art. Key tools were explored. Emphasis was placed on understanding AI as a tool to enhance, not replace, human creativity.
Mastering ChatGPT Prompting
The focus shifted to mastering the art of prompt engineering with ChatGPT. Participants learned how to craft effective prompts, brainstorm ideas, and refine their creative vision through iterative interaction with the AI with the advanced prompt techniques they learned.
Midjourney Deep Dive
Participants delved into Midjourney, learning the intricacies of its parameters, prompt attributes, and different versions. Hands-on exercises fostered rapid skill development.
Advanced Prompting Techniques
Advanced techniques like image prompting, Midjourney add-ons, prompt chains, and reverse engineering were explored, empowering participants to achieve sophisticated results.
Key Project: Visual Storytelling
Participants leveraged their newly acquired skills to create a 10-slide visual story. They used ChatGPT for story development and prompt engineering, and Midjourney to generate the accompanying visuals. This project demonstrated their ability to integrate AI tools seamlessly into their creative workflow.
